Adil Shirinov — President and CEO Ford Sollers

On July 6, 2017 Adil Shirinov is appointed President and CEO, Ford Sollers JV.

Adil Shirinov has been working for the Ford Sollers JV since its foundation in 2011 as first vice president and chief operating officer and played a key role in successful steering the business through the challenging period in the Russian market, significantly contributing to the company’s development in the field of localization and its manufacturing footprint.

Before joining Ford Sollers in 2011, Adil Shirinov was deputy general director and commercial director of SOLLERS and was responsible for managing all commercial negotiations with partners. Prior to that he served as general director of all business units in Tatarstan, including Elabuga and Naberezhnie Chelny plants. Shirinov played a key part in the organizing of state of the art production facilities in Tatarstan, and leading the strategic cooperation with partners such as Fiat, SsangYong and Isuzu. Prior to joining SOLLERS, Shirinov was the deputy general director at RusPromAvto OJSC, from 1999-2002 he worked for Ford Motor Company in Russia and was the first employee of the new manufacturing project in Vsevolozhsk. He was employed as the director for production and non-production procurement, and later as the regional purchasing director (Povolzhye).

Shirinov graduated from Nizhniy Novgorod Institute of Foreign Languages, and earned an MBA degree at the International Management Institute, Saint Petersburg (IMISP).

Tom Hilditch — Chief Operating Officer

Tom Hilditch was appointed Chief Operating Officer, Ford Sollers JV in October 2017. At this position, Tom is responsible for the Ford Sollers JV operating strategy.

Tom Hilditch has been working for Ford Sollers JV since 2015 as Chief Financial Officer.

Tom joined the team in Russia for the first time in 2009 and held the position of a financial controller at the plant in Vsevolozhsk.
Then he continued his career in the Ford Otosan JV in Turkey, where, within the position held, he developed and implemented along with the team the plan for cost optimization and adaptation to the market conditions.
The acquired valuable work experience at the joint venture allowed him to take up the position of the Chief Financial Officer of Ford Sollers JV in 2015.

Tom started his career at Ford more than 20 years ago when in 1998 he joined Ford of Britain and had worked during the first 5 years in the financial department on cross-functional projects together with the manufacturing department, sales, marketing and new product development departments. Following that period, Tom received his first appointment to the international position in Ford USA and worked on launching the Escape Hybrid — the world’s first hybrid SUV.

Tom Hilditch graduated from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London in 1998.
