The main growth drivers were the new Ford Transit, the Ford Kuga crossover and the new Ford Focus, which demonstrated the fastest growth.
During the first seven month of this year, total sales of the new-generation Ford Transit saw a 85% growth against a similar period in 2015. Total sales of the Ford Kuga crossover grew 29% from January to July of 2016 against a similar period of the previous year.
The new Ford Focus demonstrated a 16% growth of sales during the first seven months of 2016 against the first seven months of 2015.
A significant role in sales growth in January-July of 2016 belongs to the new Ford Fiesta, which was launched on the market by the company in June of 2015. During the first seven months of 2016, more than 5,000 Ford Fiesta vehicles were sold in Russia.
During the first seven months of 2016, the company exported more than 500 vehicles. This export volume was achieved through the expanded geography of exports and the existing assortment of exported vehicles. Currently, there are organized export deliveries to the markets of Kazakhstan, Belarus and Armenia; the company exports the whole gamut of Russian-made Ford passenger vehicles and special versions based on the Ford Transit.
